Jogen’s core idea is simple: companies track human work and AI work in completely separate systems. Humans are measured through timesheets, work orders, and project-management tools, while AI is measured through token usage, model runs, and API costs. There is no unified system that lets companies compare the actual cost, quality, and efficiency of human work against AI work. Auteur, Jogen’s product for engineering teams, closes that gap. It treats human work as measurable output in the same way AI output is already measured. For every task, Auteur records who completed it, whether the work was accepted by a reviewer, how much time it took, and what it ultimately cost. The same framework can be applied when the task is completed by an AI model or agent. Over time, every task becomes a permanent, structured record of performance: who or what did the work, how efficiently it was completed, and whether the final output met the required quality standard. This creates a proprietary dataset that most companies currently do not have. That dataset enables a fundamentally better way of managing engineering work. Instead of deciding based on assumptions about whether humans or AI are “better,” teams can make decisions using real cost, quality, and efficiency data. Auteur can identify which tasks should remain human-led, which can be automated, and where humans and AI should work together. Auteur is already live with 17 CAE groups across mechanical and industrial engineering. Jogen is also developing additional products around AI-powered productivity and work intelligence.
