We are addressing the global challenge of children and adolescents growing up without the emotional, social, and physical self-management skills a digitally saturated world now demands. Globally, one in seven 10-19-year-olds experiences a mental disorder, accounting for 15% of the global burden of disease in this age group, and one-third of these conditions emerge before the age of 14, and half before 18. Parents are raising kids in territory no generation before has seen: online social pressure, digital overload, shifting identities, and rapidly changing bodies, with old-school advice no longer fit for the task. We have built Birdy, an age-mapped library of children's books that translates developmental science and psychology into vivid visuals and captivating narratives, giving children from their earliest years through adolescence the tools to manage their physical health, process raw emotions, and build focus and resilience. Our books are developed alongside psychologists and teachers, with each title targeting skills in a specific domain (emotional, social, or physical development) matched to the child's developmental stage. By using Birdy, families replace the chaos of endless advice with a structured ecosystem for complete brain and body development, building protective skills years before a condition would otherwise surface. 1 Science-led: We translate developmental science and psychology into actionable tools for daily routines. Never boring, never a repackaging of basic facts or morals. 2 Built for where children are: Each title is designed for a specific emotional and physical stage, so the skill lands when the child is ready for it. 3 Independence by design: We lay the cognitive groundwork for the choices children make when no adult is in the room, so focus and resilience compound over time. 4 Birdy is a psychologically safe, age-mapped foundation that converts the overwhelm of modern parenting into lifelong self-mastery for children, and converts late, costly intervention into early, low-cost prevention. We directly contribute to sustainability, specifically SDG-3 (Good Health & Well-being) and SDG-4 (Quality Education) 1 Building emotional stability and mental health skills in children and adolescents before conditions escalate 2 Equipping children with the health literacy and self-management skills to own their physical health for life
