MilletMitra AI, operated by CPD Agro Farming Producer Company Limited, is a DPIIT-recognized agri-tech startup based in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The startup is building an AI-powered Millet Intelligence and Traceability Network to improve farmer incomes, supply-chain transparency and market access for millet growers and rural producer communities. MilletMitra AI integrates Artificial Intelligence, digital farmer identity, QR-based traceability, market intelligence and value-chain management into a technology-enabled ecosystem connecting farmers, FPOs, buyers, processors, institutions and consumers. The platform aims to digitize the millet value chain while promoting sustainable agriculture and transparent farm-to-fork commerce. The startup is currently working with more than 420 farmers across multiple villages and clusters in Bundelkhand, enabling farmer onboarding, digital records, crop intelligence, QR-based traceability and structured market linkage support. The initiative is being developed through a prototype and MVP-oriented approach, with the objective of validating technology, farmer adoption and value-chain coordination at the field level. MilletMitra AI is developing a scalable ecosystem combining millet production, aggregation, processing, branding, value addition and institutional market access. The platform is intended to create a digital coordination layer between farmers and FPOs on one side and processors, buyers, institutions and consumers on the other side. Its long-term vision is to build a trusted millet intelligence and traceability ecosystem supporting sustainable agriculture, nutritional security, transparent supply chains and inclusive rural economic growth across Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh and beyond.
