Manufacturing bespoke terrazzo surfaces , breeze blocks and wall claddings using an HPC mix comprising of waste glass , waste plastic , marble waste , industrial byproducts to replace a portion of the cement using sustainable practices. We at Sango are determined to provide an alternate to quarried marble and porcelain tiles while maintaining the beauty of your floor and wall coverings. Marble is quarried from land thus removing the fertile topsoil and vegetation , dust from mining results in poor AQI and hazardous conditions for the workers , leads to biodiversity loss , water contamination and lowering of the ground water levels and a very high carbon footprint . Porcelain or Vitrified tiles are fired at 1200to 1300 Celsius usually running on natural gas making it one of the most carbon heavy flooring option in the world even though it offers a thin layer of printing which usually wears out in a couple of years and cannot be repaired or polished to restore there beauty thus requiring frequent changing . We at Sango use our curated HPC mixture where we use crushed glass , plastic and marble waste along with a cementitious mix of industrial byproducts to manufacture wall and floor tiles without firing a kiln or mining . Almost all of our glass and marble comes from roadsides and construction waste . Also our surfaces are easily repairable and easy to maintain thus offering a life span that stretches the lifespan of the building.
