The operating system for local commerce, a vendor-first, hyperlocal platform that helps independent neighbourhood businesses compete in an era increasingly dominated by delivery-first, commission-heavy giant platforms. Our founding thesis is that the local vendor is the customer we serve. Where existing platforms optimize for warehouse-led deliveries and customer attention, WayCube is footfall-first: our north-star metric is the number of store visits we drive to each vendor every week. We help vendors set up a digital storefront, attract customers through proximity and community feed, and grow their in-store revenue, while keeping ownership of their operations, storefront, and customer relationships. WayCube monetises through a transparent, affordable model: tiered vendor subscriptions based on order volume, plus a clearly disclosed flat service fee on the customer side. The platform is built as an extensible ecosystem (Spaces), allowing third-party tools, logistics partners, and independent developers to build on top of it, compounding into network effects over time. Our active pilot runs in Manipal, Karnataka, following an earlier vendor-acquisition sprint in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, with an 80% vendor onboarding conversion rate. By keeping commerce local, physical, and human, WayCube preserves neighbourhood high-street economies, empowers under-served Tier-2 and Tier-3 vendors, and creates direct and ecosystem-wide livelihoods.
