AveoEarth is a zero-commission marketplace and AI/blockchain-verified trust layer built for India's artisans, tribal craftspeople, handloom weavers, SHGs and FPOs — producer communities whose authentic, sustainable work has rarely been given its due in the market. The marketplace is live today: sellers keep every rupee of the sale price, with AI agents handling vernacular-first onboarding, listing and pricing so that producers without digital literacy or English fluency can participate directly, without a middleman capturing their margin. Our core innovation is a verification and authenticity engine, currently in prototype development under incubation at IIML EIC's Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology. Producer-submitted data on origin, material and sourcing is captured, corroborated against cluster and registry records, and anchored on the Hedera blockchain as a tamper-evident record — turning an unverifiable craft story into an auditable, trustworthy sourcing asset. This is a direct, applied instance of the CoE's own mission: using blockchain to build trust, transparency and reliability into a real economic sector, not just a proof of concept. The problem is structural: genuine producers lose income twice, once to marketplace commissions of 10-40 percent, and again to counterfeit or machine-made goods sold under an authentic label. No existing player closes this gap end to end — government schemes verify via static physical labels, craft marketplaces curate without verifying, and enterprise traceability platforms verify but remain brand-facing, inaccessible to an individual weaver. AveoEarth combines all three functions, built from the producer's side up. This also aligns with the CoE's own global-reach ambitions: our verified-sourcing model is built for exactly the export buyers in the UAE, Europe and beyond that the CoE aims to connect its startups with, giving Indian handloom producers a genuine, trust-backed route into those markets rather than a purely domestic ceiling.
