Users can buy any US stock from Rs 100 in rupees, without needing to understand LRS limits, forex conversion, or FEMA obligations. The product is built exclusively for US equity investing, unlike existing platforms where US stocks are an afterthought buried inside superapps built for loans, credit cards, and mutual funds. The problem we solve is twofold. First, no Indian platform has optimised specifically for US equity investing as a standalone use case. Second, the compliance burden around cross-border investing is genuinely scary for retail users. Real forum posts show investors avoiding US stocks entirely due to Schedule FA complexity, FEMA violation fear, and annual CA costs of Rs 5,000 to 15,000. SplitStock removes both barriers. Investing is simple, starting from Rs 100 with a clean focused interface. Tax compliance is automated from the first trade, with capital gains tracking, Schedule FA preparation, and LRS monitoring built directly into the product workflow. At tax time, users download a single report instead of visiting a CA. The company is structured as a Clause 18 referral entity under IFSCA's Global Access framework. Alpaca India is our regulated GAP partner handling KYC, execution, and custody. SplitStock operates purely as a technology layer. DPIIT recognized, company incorporated, NDA signed with Alpaca India, referral agreement term sheet received, and sandbox live with full order routing and tax logging tested end to end.
