Bussiness Ideas

Durgyansh Greens Private Limited is a women-led CleanTech enterprise focused on converting agricultural residues into high-quality biomass bio-pellets for industrial thermal applications. The business addresses two interconnected challenges: the underutilisation and burning of agricultural residues and the increasing dependence of industries on coal as a thermal fuel. The company plans to establish a 2 TPH biomass pellet manufacturing facility in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, with an annual production capacity of approximately 6,000 tonnes at full utilisation. The plant will utilise locally available agricultural residues such as paddy straw, wheat straw, sugarcane residues, mustard husk and maize stalks. These residues will be processed through shredding, grinding, drying, conditioning and pelletisation to produce a consistent and easy-to-handle renewable solid fuel. Our business model is primarily B2B, supplying biomass pellets directly to industries that currently depend on coal for thermal energy. By sourcing agricultural residues locally, Durgyansh Greens aims to reduce raw-material transportation distances, create additional income opportunities for farmers and establish a reliable regional biomass supply chain. The key innovation is process optimisation through the planned integration of AI and IoT technologies. Sensors and digital monitoring can be used for moisture measurement, production parameters, energy consumption, machine condition and quality control. AI-based analysis can further support raw-material forecasting, moisture optimisation, predictive maintenance and production efficiency. This technology roadmap is intended to improve pellet consistency, reduce process losses and optimise operating costs. The company aims to build a scalable and sustainable business model that can expand from Eastern Uttar Pradesh to other industrial clusters across North India. By converting agricultural waste into useful industrial fuel, Durgyansh Greens seeks to contribute to cleaner energy adoption, reduction of residue burning, rural economic development and industrial decarbonisation.
