SIA (Sanskritised Inference Algorithm™) builds software that makes India's classical knowledge usable and checkable by ordinary people. The problem. India's knowledge traditions are written down in Sanskrit texts, but very few people can read them. Most people depend on intermediaries whose advice they cannot check against the source, or on AI chatbots that can invent answers. There is wide demand for this knowledge, but no reliable way to get it straight from the texts. Our solution. We encode classical Sanskrit works as machine-readable rules, each linked to its original verse, and run them through our own inference engine. A person asks a question in English, Hindi or Hinglish and receives an answer that applies the texts to their own case, with the verse behind each statement shown. A language model is used only to polish the final wording; it cannot add facts. The product. SIA is live as a website (siavigyan.com) and an Android app. The first knowledge domain in service is Jyotiṣa, built on nine classical works (about 6,200 verses). Users can ask questions and buy detailed written reports. Revenue model. We sell directly to consumers: a free trial, one-time reports priced from ₹99, and subscription plans for families and professional practitioners. Because the reasoning is done by our own code rather than by a large AI model, the cost of serving each answer is low, which lets us price for the Indian mass market. Our advantage. The verse-linked knowledge base and the engine are built in-house and are hard to copy: every rule has to be read, encoded and tested against its source text. Growth plan. The same engine and rule format are designed to carry other Indian knowledge domains, such as Āyurveda and Yoga, so each new domain becomes a new product on the same platform.
