SafePik Private Limited is building the operating system for India's private security industry — three connected products that digitise how security agencies enrol guards, how they manage them, and how India books them. India has approximately 30,000 PSARA-licensed security agencies employing 9–10 million guards, in a security market valued at USD 5.5 billion and growing at 11.23% annually. Despite its scale, the industry runs on paper. Under Section 10(1)(c) of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005, no agency may employ a guard until it has verified his character and antecedents — yet that verification is still recorded on handwritten forms and carried to a police station by hand. Agencies keep rosters in Excel, take bookings over WhatsApp, and hold no digital record of their own workforce. SafePik addresses this in sequence. SafePik Onboard, a mobile and web platform now live in pilot with its first agency, digitizes guard enrolment and files police verification with the Uttar Pradesh Police on the agency's behalf. The Agency Portal, in development, extends this into workforce management — rosters, deployments and compliance — making SafePik the agency's system of record. The SafePik consumer application, also in development, then allows individuals to book trained bodyguards by the hour, dispatched from guards SafePik has already verified. Revenue comes from two pools within one industry: a monthly platform subscription plus a per-guard verification fee from agencies, and a commission on consumer bookings once the marketplace launches. The B2B lines generate revenue first and are not dependent on the consumer product. All three products have been engineered in-house by a solo technical founder on Android, Next.js and Google Cloud infrastructure hosted in India, with DPDP-compliant consent and data handling built in. The company is DPIIT-recognized, incorporated in Uttar Pradesh, and has reached first customer deployment on zero external capital.
