Novatri is developing an affordable, highly portable Digital IC Tester designed to fundamentally disrupt the educational, hobbyist, and small-scale electronics market. Currently, the landscape for hardware debugging is severely polarized. On one end, traditional IC testing equipment consists of bulky, legacy benchtop machines that are prohibitively expensive and largely inaccessible to engineering students or underfunded university labs. On the other end, low-cost DIY alternatives built on basic microcontrollers suffer from severe performance limitations, such as dangerous voltage sags and memory constraints, leading to false test results when verifying high-current logic chips. The core innovation of our physical prototype is a custom 3-path power delivery network. By utilizing a sophisticated array of shift registers and MOSFETs, the device dynamically configures power rails and logic routing with absolute precision, eliminating the need for manual hardware switching or unreliable breadboard connections. Users can instantly and safely verify the logic, health, and timing of over 200 different integrated circuits, with massive truth table libraries stored locally for immediate pass/fail diagnostics. We have successfully validated our core technology by demonstrating a live, functional prototype at hardware expos, including National Drone War 1.0 and RIdeHack'24. Backed by an initial pre-seed investment, Novatri is currently in the active prototyping phase, meticulously iterating our custom PCB design and firmware to finalize a reliable, manufacturable diagnostic tool for engineering institutions, makers, and early-stage startups.
