PYAAS Dairy Private Limited is a dairy traceability venture registered in Uttar Pradesh. In the conventional milk chain, milk from many farmers is pooled before chilling. Once pooled, adulteration cannot be attributed to anyone, the farmer is paid days later at a flat rate with no record of the quality supplied, and the consumer has no way to verify where the milk came from. FSSAI's 2018 national milk survey found aflatoxin M1 above safe limits in 5.7 per cent of samples. PYAAS has built a platform that makes the chain checkable. Pyaas Saathi, a field and back office application, digitises farm and farmer onboarding, milk collection and quality linked payment to the farmer's bank account or UPI. A traceability engine binds every production batch to its input collections and to each individual pack. A consumer application, live on Google Play and the App Store, lets a customer scan the QR code on a pack and open the record behind that exact pack: the farm, the farmer and that batch's record. Because the record is produced as a by product of paying the farmer, it places no additional burden on the village level operator. Milk is sourced from four named partner farms in Gonda, published by name with their daily volumes, pouring 1,197 litres a day from 155 cows, and processed at an FSSAI licensed partner plant in Gonda under PYAAS dedicated protocols. Bilona cow ghee is on sale and ships across India today, and fresh milk is in limited trial in selected Lucknow areas. The company was incorporated on 9 July 2026 and holds Work Order 5347 dated 13 August 2026 from Lucknow Milk Union, a unit of the Pradeshik Cooperative Dairy Federation (Parag), appointing PYAAS as online distributor for Lucknow for a ninety day pilot. The platform was presented to the Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in July 2026. The model creates rural employment through an eleven role partner network covering collection, chilling, transport, co packing, neighbourhood hubs and last mile delivery, with participation by women's self help groups, and it converts undocumented smallholders into documented suppliers with a continuous record of income and quality.
