Upanah.AI is an AI-powered footwear discovery and fit platform designed to simplify the way consumers search, evaluate and purchase footwear. Today, customers face three major challenges: finding the right footwear for a specific need, determining the correct size and fit across different brands, and comparing prices and options across multiple online retailers. Upanah.AI addresses these challenges through an AI-first consumer experience. Users can describe their requirement in natural language or voice, such as comfortable walking shoes for a senior, running shoes under a specific budget, or school shoes for children. The AI converts the requirement into structured intent and recommends suitable footwear. The platform also provides Foot Fit Scan capabilities that use a smartphone image and a reference object to estimate foot length, width and arch and map the result to UK, EU and US sizing. Users can compare products, ratings, prices and delivery information across multiple retailers and can use Find by Photo to identify visually similar footwear. Virtual Try-On further helps users visualize footwear before purchase. The platform is designed to remain retailer-neutral, allowing consumers to select where they ultimately purchase. The current platform covers multiple footwear categories and consumer segments including men, women, kids, seniors, sports, running, walking, casual, formal and comfort footwear. Upanah.AI is initially focused on India and is designed to scale internationally through AI-driven personalization, multilingual experiences, retailer integrations and footwear fit intelligence. The long-term vision is to build an intelligent footwear decision layer connecting consumers, brands and retailers rather than operating only as another footwear marketplace.
