Quantumshift is a distinguished cybersecurity startup based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The startup consists of a cadre of experts from diverse scientific domains united and devoted to secure Indian cyber infrastructure. QuantumShift is the only company in the state of Uttar Pradesh that has been selected and approved for MEITY for Design Linked Incentive for Access of EDA tools support for building indigenous semiconductor chips. The project is approved for developing a secure-by-design Processor featuring state-of-the-art hardware security, powered by custom Instruction Set Architecture and microarchitecture. QuantumShift has partnered with TATA Electronics for jointly packaging and testing this chip within India under the Make in India initiative in the upcoming Tata Semiconductor Assembly and Test facility in Karnataka and Assam. The proposed SoC is designed to integrate advanced pipelining, cache coherency protocols, and hardware-level encryption to provide the highest security in Indian e-governance operations and high-performance cloud computing in high-integrity networks, transmitting data of national importance. QuantumShift has been researching to integrate quantum-enabled communication services for Ministry of Defence, actively researching in long-range quantum key distribution (QKD), fiber-optic channel stabilization, and free-space optical communications, all engineered to deliver military-grade security against complex eavesdropping and cyber-attack vectors.
