AquaSynthesis is a deep tech startup revolutionizing agriculture through advanced hydroponics and integrated automation systems. Our mission is to enable sustainable, year-round, and location-independent cultivation of high-value crops, addressing core issues of food security, import dependence, and climate resilience. We have developed a next-generation hydroponic system with a patented sub-irrigation layer that mimics soil dynamics—this innovation allows precise control of moisture around the root zone, enabling successful cultivation of water-sensitive crops like saffron, which were previously considered unsuitable for hydroponics. Our system reduces water usage, eliminates soil-borne diseases, and achieves higher yield with lower input cost. Additionally, we are integrating a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) and farming robot into our platform. The CPS analyzes visual and environmental data, while the robot gathers root-zone and environmental data in real-time. This combined with our automation system enables the farm to "Sense, Analyze, and Act"—a leap from traditional automation and a first in its category. These systems are designed to be scalable and adaptable to both hydroponic and conventional farms. Our saffron technology has achieved successful lab testing and market validation, with purchase intents of over INR 6.3 Cr. We are now setting up a pilot production facility while preparing to lease our technology and expand to cross-border markets, including Australia and the Middle East. Recognized at platforms like the G20 Agri Summit and covered by DD Kisan, AquaSynthesis is not just building agri-tech products—we’re building resilient agricultural ecosystems.
