Renergizr Industries is pioneering a clean energy transition in the backup power sector by replacing
polluting diesel generators with patented, wastewater-to-hydrogen fuel cell genset systems. India currently
relies on over 10 million diesel gensets, contributing significantly to urban air pollution, rising fuel imports,
and regulatory challenges under CPCB Phase-II norms. Our solution addresses this pain point by offering a
zero-emission, circular, and intelligent alternative.
At the core of our innovation is a hybrid system that integrates:
Wastewater-fed electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen, reducing freshwater dependency.
Indigenous PEM fuel cell stack that delivers clean, efficient, and silent electricity.
AI + IoT smart controls for predictive maintenance, load balancing, and real-time monitoring.
Blockchain-enabled metering for peer-to-peer energy trading and carbon credit monetization.
Our gensets are modular and scalable (5 kW–1 MW), making them ideal for telecom towers, industries,
defense outposts, smart cities, and critical infrastructure. Compared to diesel gensets, our system offers
80% lower OPEX, 92?ficiency, <45 dB noise, and eliminates CO?, NOx, and particulate emissions.
We have successfully validated the technology with a 5 kW prototype (Shriram Institute, Delhi) and a 20 kW
field pilot with Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (Ministry of Coal). Currently, we are preparing a 30 kW
commercial deployment with IndianOil and the Armed Forces.
Backed by IIT Kanpur (FIRST), IIM Sambalpur, and Startup India, and supported by over 3 crore in nondilutive grants, Renergizr is now scaling from pilots to commercialization. Our long-term vision is to build a
global clean hydrogen genset company, contributing to India’s Green Hydrogen Mission and enabling a
net-zero future worldwide.
