Billions tons of lignocellulosic biomass solid waste generated by various industry and our company focusing of utilizing this solid waste to convert it into valuable product which play substantial role in environmental sustainability. We plan to manufacture activated carbon using these lignocellulosic biomasses solid waste. Major constrains for implementation of large-scale production of activated carbon includes availability of energy and emission of huge amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) as major production processes were very energy intensive, these processes had very high specific energy consumption in terms of kilo watt hours (KWH) per kilogram of activated carbon produces which leads to high GHG footprint. our patented single step green synthesis process addresses major constrains for its adaptability at industrial scale production, first our process did not require any environmentally hazardous chemicals, secondly required very less energy compared previously reported processes which in turn reduce millions of Tons of CO2. Thus, our entire production process for activated carbon focus on environmental sustainability by utilizing natural resources in discipline manner. Furthermore, our produced activated carbon has its wide application in the field of combating environmental pollution. We focus on converting waste into wealth by utilizing the generated lignocellulosic biomass solid waste. The uniqueness of the solution is our granted Patent (540939) for manufacturing of activated carbon from lignocellulosic biomass waste and energy efficient green method for production. The specific energy consumption for production of activated carbon through our patented process is very less along with reduced green-house gases emission. In simple terms, it required very less amount of energy to produce per kilogram of product i.e. specific energy consumption in terms of kilo watt hours (KWH) per kilogram of activated carbon produced is very less than the current available technologies. This leads to very low carbon footprint in production process. Also the activated carbon produced by our process has high capacity to adsorb heavy metals, various dyes and other chemical from the environment which is very useful in the air, water and soil pollution control. Our product can play a major role in rejuvenating major Indian rivers.
