There is lack of reliable, specific, and validated biomarkers for early disease detection, diagnosis, and monitoring. India has a very diverse pool of cancer pateints and established regulatory framework which could make India not only self reliant but also global supply hub for Biomarkers. The biomarkers will be developed, characterized and supplied flobally to Diagnostics and Drug development based companies globally.
