Tepi AI (Transforming Education & Progress Initiative in AI) is an innovative, youth-led EdTech startup solving the critical gap in AI education across India. While only 5% of Indian schools currently offer AI-related curriculum, Tepi AI has developed a scalable model through hands-on AI workshops, hackathons, and internship support programs aligned with NEP 2020. Our unique dual-monetization model engages both educational institutions and brands, ensuring financial sustainability and high impact. Unlike traditional coaching or online courses, we focus on experiential learning, making students not just consumers of AI but creators. Our solution is scalable nationwide through low-cost delivery models in both urban and rural areas. With over 500 students impacted already and a mission to reach 10 lakh learners by 2026, Tepi AI is a highly replicable, tech-driven initiative bringing innovative AI literacy to the grassroots—making India job-ready, future-focused, and globally competitive. Tepi AI is solving the critical problem of lack of accessible and practical AI education in India, especially for school and college students. Despite the growing importance of AI in the future job market—with over 90% of careers expected to require AI knowledge—most Indian students, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, have little to no exposure to real-world AI skills. Traditional education systems are outdated and fail to equip students with future-ready digital capabilities. Tepi AI bridges this gap through hands-on workshops, hackathons, and internship support programs that simplify AI learning, making it engaging, affordable, and aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
