VIDGYA is an AI-based healthcare company concept from MNNIT Allahabad, founded by Himanshu Bhushan and Jatin Rana. The business concept centers on a specialized AI system that provides patient prognoses and detects future diseases by analyzing genetic data and initial symptoms. Its core innovation is the fusion of ancient Ayurvedic principles with modern allopathic technology, aiming to identify the underlying causes of a disease, not just treat its symptoms. This vision extends to creating a novel diagnostic system that can integrate Ayurveda, allopathy, homeopathy, and unani to find the most appropriate method for each case. This model directly addresses critical deficiencies in India's healthcare system , including the nearly 5 million annual deaths from medical malpractice , the inadequate availability of doctors in rural areas , short doctor-patient interaction times , and the problem of delayed diagnosis. To achieve its goals, VIDGYA plans to innovate across the full technology stack through what it terms a "NOBEL PROGONOSTIC METHOD". This includes developing proprietary hardware, such as a multi-parameter "PTG sensor" and other advanced Ayurvedic and genetic sensors, which will power its unique analytical models. Beyond individual diagnostics, the startup's ambitious vision extends to leveraging its AI technology to predict future pandemics and even explore anti-aging methods. Having recently passed its December 2025 proof of concept milestone , the team has a roadmap for full deployment in both urban and rural areas by 2028.
