Scinomat Solutions is leading a quiet revolution in the clean mobility space, and we're proud to be at the forefront. As a deep-tech company incubated at the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre at IIT Kanpur, we are tackling the biggest roadblocks to widespread electric vehicle adoption. We have developed a system that goes beyond conventional batteries and even existing hydrogen technologies. Our breakthrough is the development (along with IIT Kanpur & IIT Bombay) of an integrated solution combining our proprietary (developed with IIT Bombay) Solid State Hydrogen Storage (SSHS) with a new, affordable Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC). This is a game-changer. Unlike compressed gaseous, cryo-compressed (25-30 Kg/m3) or liquid hydrogen (50 Kg/m3), this has much higher volumetric density (50-175 Kg/m3), our SSHS is inherently safer, operates at lower pressure, and has a higher energy density (120 MJ/Kg) Vs gasoline / diesel (44 MJ/Kg), allowing for more compact storage. The heart of our technology is the PEMFC. Traditional fuel cells rely on expensive platinum catalysts, making the final product unaffordable for the average consumer. Through our collaboration with IIT Kanpur, we've developed a non-noble metal-based catalyst that dramatically reduces the amount of platinum required, cutting the cost of the fuel cell by over 40-50%. This is the key to making hydrogen-powered vehicles truly accessible. Our initial product, a hydrogen-powered bicycle, will demonstrate our technology's ability to deliver superior performance and safety. This is the first step in our roadmap to bring affordable hydrogen power to a full range of vehicles, from two-wheelers to cars, and make a tangible impact on the future of clean transportation.
