Developed through over ten years of scientific research at IIT Kanpur and IISc Bangalore, the SES technology provides clinical-grade sensitivity while remaining robust, thin, and scalable for large-area manufacturing. The integrated system combines the sensor sheet with a distributed electronics module, embedded algorithms, wireless communication, and a caregiver dashboard that issues timely alerts when prolonged pressure is detected. The business model targets, palliative-care organizations, elder care, rehabilitation centres, and home-care providers. By offering a scientifically validated, data-driven solution, Yantrolok aims to reduce caregiver workload, improve patient outcomes, and enable objective documentation for quality-of-care monitoring.
