Frutacrunch is a healthy snacking brand focused on making real fruit-based chips accessible to everyday Indian consumers. Today, most mainstream snacks are deep-fried, high in salt, and full of preservatives, while existing healthy alternatives are priced at a premium and do not cater to mass-market consumption. This creates a large gap for an affordable, tasty, and genuinely nutritious snack option. We solve this by producing air-dried fruit chips using a controlled dehydration process. Our products contain no oil, no added sugar, and no preservatives, making them suitable for students, families, and health-conscious consumers. We currently have four prototype SKUs like apple, banana, chiku, and sweet potato chips which have been tested with over 1000 consumers. The feedback strongly validates taste, pricing, and repeat interest. Our business strategy starts with D2C and e-commerce, which helps us collect real consumer data and refine the product before entering modern trade, quick commerce, and later retail outlets. We aim to position Frutacrunch as an affordable healthy snacking brand starting from ?40 to ?60, making it possible for daily consumption, not just occasional premium use. Our long term vision is to build a scalable FMCG brand from India that promotes natural, clean-label snacking habits while generating employment and supporting local fruit sourcing. Frutacrunch aligns with the government’s focus on nutrition, affordability, and value-addition in food processing.
