KnightSight is an infrastructure-focused technology initiative aimed at improving vehicle access, monitoring, and security in controlled environments such as gated residential societies, educational campuses, industrial facilities, and institutional premises. Current vehicle access systems largely depend on manual processes, basic cameras, or internet-dependent automation, which often fail under real operating conditions such as night-time usage, poor visibility, inconsistent connectivity, and high human dependency. This results in unauthorized access, lack of traceability, delayed investigations, and operational inefficiencies. KnightSight addresses this gap by developing a vehicle intelligence system that enables reliable vehicle identification and movement visibility within a premises. Instead of limiting functionality to gate-level access events, the system focuses on creating a consistent vehicle identity and tracking vehicle movement across multiple points inside a site. This provides operators and facility managers with improved visibility, accountability, and decision support for day-to-day operations. The business concept emphasizes edge-based, on-site operation to ensure reliability without continuous dependence on cloud connectivity. The immediate objective is to convert an existing research prototype into a deployable, pilot-ready solution that can operate continuously in real-world conditions. Through controlled pilot deployments, KnightSight aims to validate system reliability, collect operator feedback, and document deployment learnings. In the longer term, the business envisions serving infrastructure operators and institutions that require dependable vehicle monitoring solutions aligned with Indian operating realities. The current focus, however, is on feasibility validation, operational readiness, and risk reduction rather than large-scale commercialization.
