While we have been busy industrializing, little or no thought was given to what we might do to the weather and our climate. The consequences are here for all to see. Some regions are reeling under droughts while others by unpredictable, extreme-rainfall events. Still more are left battling wildfires, heat waves, and high doses of particulate pollutants. Water insecurity, including drought, costs the global economy an estimated 500 billion dollars each year*. Collectively, they negatively impact agriculture and food security, livelihoods and health, besides setting us back through untold economic and environmental losses. The company offers the PreciTRON, a disruptive electrostatic technology, which has primary use as a scientific instrument to better understand ‘how electrostatic charge affect weather phenomena’. Secondarily, it will find use as an emergency weather management tool that promises managing water insecurities and droughts more efficiently. It will also likely find use as an emergency heat wave and wildfire mitigation tool. Summarily, the electrically-operated electrostatic technology operates in three modes, viz., the H mode, the NN mode and the NL mode. The H mode is the primary function. Once the instrument has been operated in H mode, the same instrument can also be used in the NN and NL modes. The NN mode tends to moderate weather towards settled conditions, while the NL mode tends to induce unsettled weather (cloudy or rainy) conditions.
