HumKadam is a technology-enabled employment services and workforce management platform built for India’s infrastructure, construction, energy, and EPC sectors. The platform addresses one of the industry’s most critical challenges—timely availability of reliable, skilled, and site-ready manpower—by digitally connecting verified workers, contractors, and vendors directly with EPC companies and project owners. Traditionally, manpower hiring in infrastructure projects is fragmented, informal, and heavily dependent on middlemen, leading to delays, cost overruns, lack of transparency, and unstable employment. HumKadam solves this problem by creating a structured, project-based employment ecosystem where workforce deployment, contractor onboarding, and project requirements are managed through a centralized digital platform. HumKadam enables EPC companies to access verified manpower and contractors based on project needs, location, skill level, and timeline, while workers gain access to continuous, organized employment opportunities. The platform also supports basic operational features such as workforce verification, deployment tracking, and compliance readiness, helping improve execution efficiency and accountability on project sites. By aligning employment generation with infrastructure execution, HumKadam aims to reduce project delays, improve workforce utilization, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities. The startup is currently at the prototype stage and is preparing for pilot implementation across key infrastructure regions in India, with a long-term vision of becoming a national employment infrastructure platform.
