Avyon Technologies Private Limited is building TruthChat, a verifiable AI platform designed for India's regulated industries including legal services, banking, financial services, insurance, and government administration. We address a critical barrier to enterprise AI adoption: the inability to trust AI-generated answers in high-stakes environments where accuracy is mandatory and errors carry regulatory, financial, and reputational consequences. Current AI systems, including Large Language Models and enterprise retrieval tools, are widely documented to produce unreliable outputs when answering complex legal and compliance queries. These systems frequently fabricate citations and legal references, making them unsuitable for industries where auditability is required. A significant proportion of enterprise AI deployments in these sectors fail to reach production because organizations cannot verify the correctness of outputs. TruthChat solves this through a proprietary verification-first architecture. The platform answers questions only from documents uploaded by the organization and validates every claim before presenting it to the user. Each response includes a cryptographic provenance manifest that links claims to source snippets, creating an auditable trail that can be retained for compliance purposes. The system also performs multi-hop reasoning to connect evidence scattered across multiple documents such as policies, amendments, and circulars. The platform is built specifically for India's regulatory landscape. It supports full DPDP Act 2023 compliance with data localization, meets RBI and SEBI requirements for auditable AI systems, and can be deployed in air-gapped environments for government and defense use without internet connectivity. We use self-hosted open-source models with no foreign vendor dependencies, ensuring complete data sovereignty. Our business model is B2B subscription-based, serving law firms, banks, insurance companies, and government departments. The platform scales across multiple regulated sectors using the same core architecture. By establishing operations in Lucknow, we will create high-value AI and ML engineering positions in Uttar Pradesh and contribute to the state's growing deep-tech ecosystem.
