Skyzen International Pvt. Ltd. is pioneering India’s first integrated modified starch innovation hub in Uttar Pradesh, with a mission to transform locally available maize and potatoes into high-value functional food ingredients. Our business concept is built on addressing a critical gap: despite being an agri-rich state, Uttar Pradesh lacks any major modified starch units, forcing food processors to depend on distant suppliers from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. This results in high logistics costs, delayed supply, and limited access to customized starch formulations. Our solution is to establish a modular, scalable production and application facility that converts raw crops into food-grade modified starches and functional premixes. Unlike commodity starch suppliers, we focus on application-specific formulations designed for Indian food categories such as snacks, bakery, dairy, sauces, gravies, and instant mixes. This ensures better texture, stability, and performance, enabling MSMEs and FMCG manufacturers to innovate faster and reduce dependence on imports. The business model integrates multiple revenue streams: direct sales of modified starch products, long-term supply contracts, technical advisory services, by-product utilization (fiber and protein residues), and export sales through APEDA registration. Our competitive advantage lies in proximity to raw materials, knowledge-driven manufacturing, and compliance-ready systems. By localizing starch modification technology, we aim to enhance farmer income, reduce environmental footprint, and create a sustainable ecosystem aligned with Atmanirbhar Bharat and PMFME goals.
