Ping Browser is a chromium based web browser built for securely accessing company resources anywhere. Companies need to provide secure access to their apps and data to employees, contractors, third-party vendors, BPOs, etc. The existing solutions include: 1. company managed device - High security, costly, logistical nightmare 2. Virtual desktops - secure, very costly, terrible user experience 3. Personal devices - risky, requires a number of tools to be installed by user With the rise of SAAS based tools an average knowledge worker spends majority of their time working inside the browser. 83% of employees can complete most/all work in the browser (Forrestor report). Since people are doing their majority of work on the browser instead of the OS, we are building the workspace for this modern era. Where IT admins control every aspect of who accesses what, Security teams monitor and apply policies to prevent attacks and leaks and the Ping browser provides the end user with a consistent experience. We have built secure OIDC access in the browser that lets the user access his work on any device with an AI assistant that helps him with his daily tasks without having to switch between AI apps and providing context repeatedly. IT and security teams apply Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to add granular controls over every app like blocking Copy/paste, download/uploads, adding watermarks, adding approval flow on top of any app, masking sensitive information, blocking certain actions, etc while having visibility over every user actions with granular logs and session recordings for audit and compliance.
