JeevikaSetu, built by VariableWork Consulting Pvt Ltd, is a voice-first, AI-powered HR platform that brings India's 450-500 million informal-sector gray- and pink-collar workers into the formal economy. The platform serves beauticians, cooks, cleaners, domestic workers, plumbers, electricians, garment workers and similar livelihoods - with deliberate focus on women, who form 54.14% of eShram registrations (17.12 crore women, PIB 25 April 2026). Two products, one brand: Worker side (Setu Partners) - a voice-first mobile app: Workers speak in Hindi (22 Indian languages on the roadmap, powered by Sarvam AI Saaras ASR + Bulbul TTS, with AI4Bharat IndicConformer as open-source fallback). The platform generates a verified digital identity, a formatted CV, AI-matched job opportunities, and a portable Career Passport that travels with the worker across employers and years. Zero literacy barrier. Free for life. Employer side (Setu Clients) - a clean recruiter web dashboard: Built for non-HR operators: a salon owner, a household hirer, a small-factory supervisor, an RWA committee. Post a job, see AI-matched candidates, hire in days instead of weeks. Pre-Attendance + Auto-Replacement (Provisional Patent IN/PA-3628, 11 May 2026, 19+ subsystems) guarantees a confirmed replacement when a worker no-shows - reliability becomes a platform guarantee, not the client's problem. Business model: Worker-zero-fee for life. Setu Clients pay a 10% all-in fee on Normal jobs and 20% on Tatkal urgent jobs - on top of the worker's bid. Worker keeps 100%. Year-2 revenue mix: 67% household platform fee, 22% Tatkal, 6% SME subscription (Phase 2+), 5% late-cancel + BGV + value-added services. Dignity as architecture: A two-sided Code of Conduct, accepted bilaterally at registration, is enforced on the platform.
