Brahmagyan LLP, a DPIIT-recognised startup based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has developed the patent-pending Integrated System for Plant Management: a low-cost, automated soilless agriculture platform using a novel positive-pressure (air + mist) hydration mechanism combined with a rooting medium. The system grows any plant variety from seed to harvest with minimal maintenance and exceptionally low energy and water consumption. It continues to function reliably even during power or water outages, making it highly resilient and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Unlike expensive and complex hydroponics and aeroponics systems, our solution eliminates root clogging, contamination risks and high operating costs, thereby making modern soilless farming accessible and profitable for resource-constrained users. The system is primarily targeted at small and marginal farmers, nurseries, MSMEs, restaurants, hotels, offices and high-end residential users across Uttar Pradesh. By enabling efficient, sustainable and decentralised plant production, it directly addresses challenges of food security, water conservation, rural livelihoods and climate resilience in the state. The business model revolves around direct sales of the system in three variants: Basic (for small farmers and commercial growers), Advanced (for large scale commercial growers) and Luxury (for premium interiors and home use). Future revenue streams will include urban farm operations, contract farming, and revenue through licensing agreements. Currently in the validation stage, the company has successfully tested multi-scale prototypes in real-world conditions over the past six years and has filed both provisional and complete utility patents. This grant support will enable large-scale field trials and accelerate our journey towards commercial readiness.
