Garhi Engineering plans to start as an engineering services company targeting the fast growing BESS segment for large SolarWind plants. With the knowledge obtained, it aims to be a fully integrated solutions company with in house instrumentation equipment development for all necessary test and measurement equipment required for the testing and installation of the batteries in this segment. Being a services company in initial stage allows the company to gain the critical knowledge in this field and form connections with the end customers and manufacturers of the batteries. It also allows us to understand the NDT tools used in the field, their working parameters and precision requirements. Currently, these instruments are imported and there is a good scope of indigenizing majority of these tools. Indigenization also helps the company to share its expertise with new local battery manufacturing entrants while adapting to any new chemistries that become more common as the field develops. This level of integration with the ecosystems will also allow us to gain new captive customers and be a vendor of choice for the end user. Locating this company in Lucknow UP allows us to keep our initial costs low while accessing a readily available talent pool. We also do expect fast growth in the connectivity with the rise in infrastructure allowing us to have a centralised location for projects all over India.
