Breast health is associated with taboo and ignorance because of the regressive methods of detection involving removal of clothes, because of which women opt out of the process, delaying detection till they reach last stages, which is often too late to go back. Self-breast detection only offers an accuracy of 15% and currently, there is no at-home solution for regular breast screening for abnormalities (lumps, tumors, fibrosis, diseases) for regular women or for women having been prescribed continuous monitoring for diagnosed lumps (often done for small lumps to ensure cancer before biopsies) and recurrence (after breast cancer removal surgeries).NaiBra is a pair of affordable breast pads (reusable and waterproof) that can be worn on the breast directly under any garment for just one minute of pre-screening that notes down your breast health profile for the month and alerts you on your phone on the onset of any abnormality in your breast. It first creates a user-specific breast profile within 2 months of weekly usage (1min) and on later usage, uses algorithms along with electromagnetic waves to detect tissue characteristic and also correlate with understanding your patterns based on your inputs in the Ovula app (a gamified, reward-based period, food, mood and symptom tracker) to increase personalization and detect lumps and issues in the breast tissue efficiently.
